- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if provided)
- The content of your message
Server and usage data
Our web server may automatically record standard technical information when you visit this website, including your IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your request. This data is used only for security and operational monitoring and is not linked to your identity.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- respond to your enquiry;
- discuss and arrange our education services with you; and
- fulfil our obligations under any service agreement we enter into with you.
We do not use your personal information for unsolicited marketing, and we do not sell or rent your data to any third party.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — responding to enquiries and managing our business relationships, where our interests do not override your rights.
- Contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — where processing is necessary to perform a service agreement with you.

Third-party services
CRM platform
Contact form submissions are received and stored by our CRM platform, operated by Book Repair Online Ltd at crm.bookrepaironline.co.uk. This platform acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes personal data only for the purpose of managing enquiries, communications and service delivery.
Google Fonts
This website loads fonts from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com). When your browser requests these fonts, your IP address and browser information are transmitted to Google as part of that request. For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.
How long we keep your data
We retain enquiry and contact data for up to three years from our last communication with you, after which it is securely deleted. Data held under a service agreement is kept for six years from the end of that agreement, in line with our legal obligations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- Erase your data in certain circumstances;
- Restrict how we process your data;
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@smallandsimplesteps.co.uk. We will respond within one calendar month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns before you contact the ICO — please get in touch with us first.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The contact form embedded by our CRM platform may set strictly necessary functional cookies required for the form to operate correctly. No personal data is stored in cookies by Small and Simple Steps Limited.
